LEGAL
Terms of Service
Plain-language overview of the terms governing your use of Manage Softly.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Manage Softly, you agree to these terms.
2. Who can use Manage Softly
Manage Softly is intended for licensed mental health practitioners operating cash-based (private-pay) solo practices, and for their clients accessing the client portal by invitation. Group / multi-clinician practices are Coming soon.
3. Clinical responsibility disclaimer
Manage Softly is a practice management and documentation tool. It does not provide clinical judgment, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not replace the practitioner's professional responsibility for the care they deliver. All clinical decisions, notes, treatment plans, and use of assessment data remain the sole responsibility of the licensed practitioner. Manage Softly is not a substitute for professional clinical training, supervision, or judgment.
4. Beta status
Manage Softly is currently offered in beta. Features may change, and paid billing is not yet active for all accounts. We will provide notice before billing begins.
5. Practitioner responsibilities
Practitioners are responsible for the accuracy of information they enter, for obtaining appropriate client consent (including for telehealth sessions and any recordings), and for complying with applicable professional, legal, and licensing requirements in their jurisdiction.
6. Account and data access
Practitioners control access permissions for their own team members. Manage Softly is not responsible for access granted by a practitioner to their own staff.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep Manage Softly available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We will communicate planned maintenance or outages where possible.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate use of the platform. Practitioners may export their data prior to account closure.
9. Limitation of liability
Manage Softly is provided on an "as is" basis during beta. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manage Softly is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves and will note the date of the most recent change.
